Two men were injured after being shot by a gunman while the duo was having dinner with another friend in a restaurant in Jalan Paya Terubung, Penang, yesterday.

In the incident, Khor Chee Loon, 30, was injured when the bullets hit his buttock while his friend, was shot on his left arm.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said both victims were sent to the Penang Hospital for treatment.
He said according to police investigations, Khor engaged in a fight with a few men and they later decided to shoot him.
However, Mior Faridalathrash said investigation into the incident was still ongoing.
He added that the police have identified the suspect and is hunting him down.
He said the case was being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder.
