A man was injured in the left knee after he was shot by one of two men at his house in Ampang here today.
Ampang Jaya Police chief ACP Hamzah Alias said the incident happened at 9.20 am when the 40-year-old man was at the front door of his house.
Two men, in their 30s, rode up to him on a motorcycle without wearing crash helmets and one of them fired a shot after the other called out his name.
"They sped off on the motorcycle," he said in a statement.
Hamzah said the motive for the attack was being investigated and that the injured man had been admitted to the Ampang Hospital. He is in stable condition.
