A man and his son have been detained by the police to facilitate investigations into the seizure of an assortment of drugs worth RM6.3 million at a flat-cum-store in Nilai.
State police chief Datuk Jaafar Mohd Yusof said the suspects, aged 52 and 33, were nabbed about 12.30pm Monday, in Penang.
"We found the drugs stored at a flat in Taman Semarak, Nilai during a raid by a team of narcotics CID personnel about 4.40pm on Thursday.
"In addition, we also seized a tablet-making machine and an oven," he told reporters here.
Jaafar said the store appeared to have been long abandoned, adding the suspects were picked up based on information that their car had passed the area.
"The store had been used for about a year to store drugs for supply to Negeri Sembilan and the Klang Valley," he added.
