Man stabbed to death by brother in Tumpat

A man was stabbed to death by his brother following a misunderstanding between the two men, at Kampung Kulim, Tumpat, early this morning.
The victim, Tan Seng Choon, 52 years, was stabbed by his 50-year-old brother with a knife at 12.30am.
Seng Choon who was rushed to the Wakaf Bharu clinic, was pronounced dead at 1.15am.
Kelantan deputy state police chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Din Ahmad said initial investigation revealed that Seng Choon was stabbed in the chest and stomache.
Seng Choon body was sent to Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital for post-mortem.
The suspect who was believed to have been suffering from mental illness since 2003 was detained to assist investigation.
Case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
