A managing director of a private company is remanded for five days beginning today to aid into the investigation of SRC International Sdn. Bhd.
The man who holds a Datuk title, was brought to the Magistrates Court in Putrajaya, here after being arrested on Wednesday in connection to the case.
The 54-year-old was arrested on Tuesday evening at a shopping complex in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
On Tuesday, a company director was remanded for four days to aid into the investigation held by the Special Force established to probe into the 1MDB case.
The 39-year-old suspect was arrested at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang at 1pm on Monday.
The special force team which is probing into the financial scandal includes officers from the Attorney General’s office, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and Bank Negara Malaysia.
