Malaysia Airlines has begun serving caviar to guests in First Class on its flagship A380 aircraft on the Kuala
Lumpur-London-Kuala Lumpur route.
This fine delicacy is included in the menu for the A380’s eight First Class guests as part of the national carrier's series of product enhancements.
“We constantly listen to our guests’ feedback on their journey and experience with us. Therefore, we are excited to offer this premium choice to our First Class guests as a 5-star carrier serving exceptional in-flight meals with top quality ingredients," Director of Customer Services Datuk Salleh Ahmad Tabrani said in a statement.
He said from Nov 1, guests on A380 First Class will be treated to an epicurean journey with the finest Sevruga caviar which they can pair with a wide selection of wines.
"This complements our gourmet choice offerings, especially if you let us know your meal preference ahead through the Chef-on-Call service," Salleh said.
Malaysia Airlines currently operates daily A380 flights between Kuala Lumpur and London.
This will be increased to a double daily A380 service from Nov 24, 2012.
Kuala Lumpur–Paris, the next A380 route, will commence on March 1, 2013 to replace the current B777 daily services on this route.
