MAS takes royal menu to the skies

Following its successful introduction last month, Malaysia Airlines' (MAS) exclusive menu 'Dari Dapur Istana' (From The Royal Kitchen) will continue to be available for first and business class passengers.
The airlines in a statement here, today said the menu was a collaboration with Tengku Puan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar which would be served to guests on outbound flights from Kuala Lumpur to selected destinations in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and regional sectors.
"MAS is delighted to be collaborating with Tengku Puan of Pahang to bring our guests flavoursome and delicious meals to savour on-board," said MAS Customer Services Director Datuk Mohd Salleh Ahmad Tabrani.
Mohd Salleh said the royal menu will feature the crown princess' signature dishes like "Nasi Tumpang with Jelatah", "Nasi Kuning with Opor Ayam Kacang", "Udang Masak Merah", "Ayam Panggang Johor", Grilled Beef Tenderloin Patty, Beef on Toast, "Dadar Pahang" and "Puding Raja".
Meanwhile, the national carrier Manager of In-Flight Food and Beverages, chef Zahiddin Dris said that MAS was proud to bring the royal menu to the world besides learning so much from Tuanku Azizah.
