MASwings chairman visits crash site, victims

Malaysia Airlines’ Group Chief Executive Officer and MASwings Chairman, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya and MASwings staff paid a visit to the passengers and families Friday, of flight MH3002 AT Kudat and Kota Kinabalu Hospital.
He had earlier visited the crash site and met with the owner of the house which was partly damaged in the accident.
Ahmad Jauhari said’ “I have just had the opportunity to meet with the survivors and their families and right now our thoughts and prayers are with them.
We are making sure that we are doing everything we can for all involved and will continue to work closely with the families. We are extending financial assistance to our passengers and the family of the deceased. We have not made any decision on compensation at this time as our focus is the well being of our passengers and tech crew,” he added.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of the deceased and those involved in the accident, and we are doing everything we can to assist them in this extremely difficult time,” said Ahmad Jauhari.
As of now, MASwings’ flights are operating as scheduled.
