MCO: Another 1,236 individuals produced in court for violation - Ismail Sabri

Police arrested 865 individuals on Tuesday compared with 946 individuals the previous day for violating the Movement Control Order (MCO), said Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Of the total, he said, 732 individuals were remanded while 133 others released on police bail.
"In total, 1,236 individuals were indicted in court (nationwide) yesterday (Tuesday). The total number of cumulative arrests of the MCO to date is 17,735 individuals," he said in a press conference here Wednesday.
He said police with the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) had also set up 835 roadblocks nationwide and had inspected 609,411 vehicles.
"A total of 50,226 surprise inspections have been conducted nationwide with 6,122 premises being inspected by the authorities," he added.
