Mustafa Othman, in a statement trough his Facebook page on Saturday, said he believed that the story was a form of provocation done by people with political interest.
Mustafa said that the price tag displayed is clearly doctored and was not the standard price tag used by the restaurant.
"All of our price tags are individually barcoded and different than the one that had gone viral,” he said.
He also questioned the combination of the meal as written on the price tag, which he describe as 'not making sense'.
"Steak and Matsusaka should not be combined with other dishes," he wrote.
Besides that, Me'nate also confirmed that the chef inside the photograph was not an emplyee from the restaurant.
Mustafa is now considering to pursue legal actions against those who spread the rumour, but would not hesitate to do so if the rumour continues.
