Eight Malaysians have been declared missing in the crane collapse tragedy at the Grand Mosque, Mecca, Friday, Malaysian haj delegation chief Datuk Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman.
He said Tabung Haji's search and rescue team is working with Muaassah Asia to find the missing pilgrims.
Here is the list of names of the Malaysian pilgrims who have been missing in the crane collapse tragedy:
1. Abdul Habib Lahman, 68 from Sik, Kedah
2. Shahidan Saad, 52 from Kodiang, Kedah
3. Zainun Taha,69 from Ampang, Selangor
4. Rohana Ismail, 54 from Kuala Krai, Kelantan
5. Munah Jusoh, 73 from Cherang Ruku, Kelantan
6. Siti Nurolshlizan Zolkifli, 37 from Tanah Merah, Kelantan
7. Abdul Muluk Ishak, 71 from Pantai Remis, Perak
8. Rusiah Suar, 56 from Sungkai, Perak
He added, 10 Malaysians were injured in the tragedy and are being treated at Tabung Haji (TH) Syisya Medical centre.
In the incident, at least 107 people were killed with 238 injured, Saudi Arabia authorities said.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had also pledged aid for pilgrims injured in the tragedy.
Meanwhile the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) confirmed that Singapore pilgrims are safe from the crane collapse tragedy.
Pictures of the incident on Twitter showed bloodied bodies strewn across a courtyard where the top part of the crane, which appeared to have bent or snapped, had crashed into the building which is several storeys high.

A video on YouTube showed people screaming and rushing around right after a massive crash was heard and as fog engulfed the city.
The incident occurred as hundreds of thousands of Muslims from all over the world gather for the annual hajj pilgrimage expected to begin on September 21.
The Grand Mosque is usually at its most crowded on Fridays.
According to the Saudi press Agency (SPA), almost 800,000 pilgrims had arrived by Friday for the hajj.
