Melaka allocates RM2.58 million in Raya special aid for 5,156 civil servants
Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the aid of RM500 involved all permanent and contract staff in the state government, local authorities and statutory bodies, with the payment to be made on June 13.
The Melaka state government is allocating RM2.58 million as special financial aid to 5,156 civil servants in the state in preparing for the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the aid of RM500 involved all permanent and contract staff in the state government, local authorities and statutory bodies, with the payment to be made on June 13.
"The aid is in line with the federal government's initiative announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to ease the burden of the people, especially civil servants, to celebrate Hari Raya."
He told this to reporters after officiating at the closing of the state- level Malaysian Syariah Index Executive Discourse, here.
