MELAKA: The 11th edition of the Malaysia Family Aspiration Tour (AKM) opened its doors today at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) Ayer Keroh, offering a variety of interesting programmes and activities for visitors.
Scheduled to be officiated by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, at 3.30 pm today, the three-day carnival is using an informative and interactive approach to attract more visitors.
The combination of elements of caring, social and economic well-being, using the two approaches will help and facilitate the community to get the information they need throughout the carnival.
The focus will definitely be on the youth and job seekers, when more than 5,000 job opportunities are on offer at the Jamin Kerja Keluarga Malaysia Career Carnival 2022.
Open interviews for employment opportunities will be available for careers in the biotechnology, services, manufacturing, hospitality, telecommunications and banking sectors.
The carnival will also provide career counselling services and MYFuturejobs registration for job seekers.
Those interested in attending the interview session are also advised to come early, dress appropriately and visit the website https://careerfair.perkeso.gov.my/ for registration.
For any inquiries, the public can visit the MYFutureJobs portal via the link www.myfuturejobs.gov.my/careerfair or contact the Perkeso Careline at 1-300-22-8000 or email [email protected].
In an effort to reduce the burden of the rising cost of living due to global economic uncertainty, the Jualan Murah Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family Cheap Sale) will also await visitors.
The sale will offer discounts of up to 20 per cent on selected items to visitors, thus benefiting the community, especially the people of Ayer Keroh and nearby areas.
In order to strengthen unity between communities, kenduri rakyat (people's feast) and sports activities are also held at the carnival.
In fact, e-sports competitions such as Fifa 2022, PlayersUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are also included to give the fans the opportunity to hone their skills in video games.
