Menswear Scores Big On The Runway
Menswear season hits once again with Milan in session at this point in time. Despite the evolving fashion runway proceedings of merging womenswear with menswear and what looks to be the future of fashion weeks taking on different formats, it cannot be denied that menswear is generating more and more attention for two reasons.
Firstly, it has been somewhat overshadowed by womenswear and under the radar for a long time and now the time has come for menswear to shine. Secondly, there seems to be more experimentation with menswear designers taking their ideas and creativity out-of-the-box of what is deemed menswear and the results are fascinating indeed.
Here are some of our favourite menswear shows and moments from London and Milan for Spring/Summer 2017 .
Prada
A future-forward traveller enamoured with light layering, active wear and the occasional quirky pattern informs Prada’s collection for Spring/Summer 2017.

Versace
Athleticism and workout gear dominate the show and all it took are sexy, rippling chest and six-pack abs to perfect everything.

Dolce & Gabbana
Close to a hundred looks but mostly standard Dolce & Gabbana ware rewired via a plethora of prints saves this collection from the doldrums.
Salvatore Ferragamo

Raf Simons
Raf Simons makes a fashion connection with the photographic art of Robert Mapplethorpe for a sartorial gallery view of menswear.
J.W. Andersen
The agile mind of Jonathan Andersen is unstoppable in churning out the most amazing fodder regardless whether it’s menswear or womenswear.
