Mercedes-Benz recalls two models

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s action plan to recall and repair selected models. By Jerrica Leong

While the C-Class had escaped un-scattered, the same cannot be said about the E-Class and the CLS-Class vehicles. Daimler AG, Germany has discovered an issue with the rubber seal of the engine compartment in certain E-Class and CLS-Class vehicles.

The good news is that only a limited batch of E-Class, specifically Model Series 212, and CLS-Class, specifically Model Series 218, are affected by this problem. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has already identified all vehicles and all owners of these vehicles will be contacted via Mercedes’ dealer network.

Rectification for these vehicles will be conducted in mid-March and owners are reassured that the rectification process is expected to take less than an hour.
