MetMalaysia: Bad weather warnings for several states

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a danger (red) level weather warning with very heavy rain expected in Pahang and Johor until tomorrow.
MetMalaysia, in a statement issued at 4.35 pm, said that it involves Jerantut, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin, in Pahang as well as in Mersing, Johor.
A severe or bad (orange) level weather warning with continuous heavy rain is also issued for Kemaman in Terengganu, also in Raub, Bentong and Bera in Pahang as well as Segamat and Kluang in Johor, and it is expected to continue until Tuesday.
Meanwhile, an alert (yellow) level weather warning with heavy rain until Tuesday expected to occur in Kelantan, Terengganu (Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang and Dungun) and Pahang (Cameron Highlands and Lipis).
A similar weather pattern is also expected to continue until tomorrow, involving other areas including Kinta, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim in Perak, as well as Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor and Hulu Selangor in Selangor.
It also involves Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru in Johor, and in Sabah's west coast (Kota Belud), Sandakan (Telupid and Beluran) and Kudat.
