MH17: Najib's step-grandmother among flight passengers

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein’s step-grandmother was among the passengers on board Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 flight which crashed late Thursday night.
According to The Star Online, Siti Amirah Kusuma, 83, was on her way to Jogjakarta, Indonesia from Amsterdam and was scheduled to transit at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
"She is a very, very nice lady. A kind-hearted and pretty lady. She was a housewife who took care of my grandfather well. We called her mom," Datin Faridah Abdullah, the family's spokesperson said to The Star Online.
Siti Amirah was married to Najib's grandfather Tan Sri Mohammad Noah Omar as his second wife.
Mohammad Noah died in 1990.
