All the next-of-kin of the victims involved in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 will be called for a briefing session as soon as the final report into the incident is released early October.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the session will provide the next-of-kin with a detailed explanation on what took place.
He said Malaysia hoped that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) would be able to continue its investigation from a criminal aspect, based on the complete report.
"For now, the government together with JIT are considering the option of creating a platform to seek justice from the international judiciary institute," said Liow.
The Dutch Safety Board had recently announced that a final report on the downing of MH17 in eastern Ukraine last year will be published on Oct 13.
The report is highly anticipated by the government and victims' families as it would unravel the mystery into who is responsible for causing the crash which killed 298 people on board in July 17 last year.
In a preliminary report last year, the Dutch Safety Board had stated that the crash was caused by "multiple high energy objects" which hit the aircraft.
