MH17: PM calls for emergency Parliament session

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is calling for an emergency Parliament session to table a motion to condemn the shooting of the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 aircraft.
He however said, the government will not point fingers until sufficient evidence are obtained.
"We however condemn the unconscionable, uncivilised and irresponsible action," said Najib in a special MH17 mandate speech on Friday.
The Prime Minister also called on all parties to keep their spirits and courage up in facing the challenges ahead.
He also urged all Malaysian Muslims regardless of their political background, to hold prayers for Malaysia to always stay peaceful, away from disasters and threats that could cause havoc in the country.
As for non-Muslims, he encouraged similar ceremonies to be held according to their believes.
In the meantime, Najib said the government has decided to declare for the country's national flag the "Jalur Gemilang " and all other state flags to be flown at half-mast beginning Friday night until Monday.
He added that the matter has been informed to the King.
Meanwhile, he also demanded for the safety of the rescue team to be guaranteed during operation.
Malaysia also insisted that the team should not be disturbed and the evidences at the scene are not contaminated.
In addition, Malaysia also demanded that those responsible should be brought to justice in case the investigation proves that the MH17 was really shot.
Najib informed that the claims has been submitted to the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon and asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to cooperate to achieve these goals.
A Boeing 777 belonging to Malaysia Airlines (MAS) was shot down near the Russian border, on Thursday.
The plane took off from Amsterdam at 12.15 pm local time and was expected to arrive in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at about 6:10 am local time.
