STATEMENT BY DATO' SRI ANIFAH AMAN
I am surprised and disappointed that a reputable media such as the Huffington Post UK could publish unproven claims by a New Zealand-based air accident investigator that the pilot of flight MH370 committed suicide, ultimately killing everyone on board the plane.
Ewan Wilson’s theory regarding Captain Zaharie Shah’s mental condition has no basis whatsoever but only manages to create more anxiety and trauma for the families and friends of the deceased.
No thought or consideration is given to the victims’ loved ones as they await news of the missing plane and the circumstances under which it came to grief.
Even as closure is hard to come by and investigations are on-going, the Huffington Post deems it fit to publish the article, with no regard for the feelings and sufferings of those who have been touched by the incident.
