MH370: Family members hoping 'objects' in Indian Ocean is not of MH370
Families of passengers onboard the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH370 flight are still clinging to hope following the announcement made by the Australian authorities of images captured in the Southern Indian Ocean by satellites which could possibly be of the missing aircraft.
One of the family members, Selamat Omar, 60, said that the five families still in Everly Hotel do not want to believe the reports of objects found in the Indian Ocean as it is not 100 per cent confirmed to be of the missing plane.
“I will wait here faithfully until we have more information,” he said in an interview with Astro AWANI.
Selamat is the father of aviation engineer, Mohamad Khairul Amri, 29, who was on board the plane which went missing on March 8 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Meanwhile, in Cyberview Resort, 30 Chinese national family members and the next of kins are patiently awaiting a briefing by the Malaysia Airline scheduled to be held at 9pm on Thursday.
The remaining families in Everly Hotel will also be brought to Cyberview Lodge for the briefing with the relevant authorities.
