The media centre for MH370 will be relocated to the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur effective on Sunday.
According to the Transport Ministry's statement today, the relocation was due to Sama-Sama Hotel's commitment towards guests coming for the Formula 1 Grand Prix this week.
"PWTC is selected because of its facilities and the availability of hotel rooms nearby that could meet the needs of media," the statement said.
With the relocation, all media conferences would be held at the Dewan Tun Dr Ismail on Level 2, and the media working area would be located at the Mawar Hall, also on Level 2.
Media could begin their operations at the PWTC from 3 pm on Sunday and were advised to make the necessary arrangements.
The daily media conference has been held at the Sama-Sama Hotel near the KL International Airport (KLIA) since the first day the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 went missing en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur on March 8.
