Investigations looking into all 227 passengers and 12 crew on-board Malaysia Airlines MH370 is still ongoing, and nobody has been "cleared" yet.
“I don’t think anybody has been cleared from any of the investigations," said Acting Transport Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein during a press conference at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) on Saturday.
"The four possibilities that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) constantly reminded us of, namely hijacking, sabotage, personal and psychology, that as I know, is still ongoing," he added.
Previously, the IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar was quoted by Bernama as saying that the police have "cleared" all passengers on-board the missing airline of the four elements, however investigations on the cabin crew including the pilot and the co-pilot was still ongoing.
"They have been cleared of the four (elements). It (is) according to our own procedure (investigation)," he was quoted as saying.
Police had previously recorded statements from more than 170 individuals over the disappearance of the Boeing 777-200ER (9M-MRO) aircraft, and are still questioning more people.
