Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai has urged experts to provide the MH370 search and rescue team with more information on the flaperon that was retrieved off Reunion Island.
Liow, referring to the announcement by a French prosecutor affirming that the flaperon was from the Malaysia Airlines plane, hoped the experts could furnish details such as precise location of its discovery.
"Such information will assist the Search Strategy Working Group which is conducting the search, to move forward.
"It has also been a trying time for family members and loved ones of the MH370 victims," he told reporters after officiating the 2015 Terengganu MCA Convention here today.
He said the government together with China and Australia would continue with the search mission.
Flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing disappeared from the radar on March 8, 2014 with 239 passengers and crew.
On Aug 6, this year, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak confirmed that the flaperon found on France's territory, Reunion Island was part of the aircraft.
