After more than two weeks the whole world and Malaysians specifically prayed and hoped that the passengers and crew of MH370 to come home safely, we finally accept in grief with the finale of this tragedy when the ill-fated flight is reported to have ended in the Indian Ocean.
I represent the Selangor state government and its people wish to express our condolences to the families of the passengers and pray that Allah SWT eases them through this moment of pain and sorrow.
In sharing their sadness, we hope everyone especially the media to respect their privacy and emotions through this challenging moment of grief and mourning.
Selangor is ready to help the families to organize tahlil prayer for the Muslims and other religious events accordingly.
A tahlil prayer will be held at Shah Alam State Mosque on Wednesday, March 26 and we hope all the Muslims would join us in seeking Allah’s grace for those on-board flight MH370.
Al-Fatihah.
Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim
Selangor Chief Minister.
