Several families of passengers on board the missing Malaysian Airlines jetliner housed at a hotel here have expressed their wish to get back to their daily routine.
Malaysia Counselling Association counsellor Nazrul Azizi said they no longer wanted to be saddled with the mystery over the disappearance of flight MH370 as the prime minister's disclosure that the plane had been deliberately diverted had given them a new ray of hope.
"Some families want to go home to take care of many things. I think this is a positive development. We are here to help them ease their emotional stress.
"They still pray according to their religious beliefs to soothe their soul.
Divine element is very important at this time and they should draw closer to God," he told reporters, Monday.
Flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing vanished from civilian radar screens at 1.30 am on March 8, about an hour after taking off from the KL International Airport.
The plane was carrying passengers from 14 countries, including 153 Chinese and 38 Malaysians.
