MH370: Western Australia will do what it takes to assist families

The state of Western Australia (WA) is in the in the midst of preparing for the arrival of the families of passengers on the ill-fated flight MH370.
“The Commonwealth is coordinating the efforts surrounding the recovery of MH370 and we are in discussions with them about the many complex issues that will need to be anticipated as the recovery effort continues and many bereaved families come to Perth.
"Whatever assistance they require, we will provide through the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
"We will do whatever we can to welcome these families to Western Australia at this very sad time and assist with their stay here," said WA's Premier Colin Barnett.
Aside from the state government, various Asian communities in the city of Perth, such as the Chung Hwa Association and the Australian Chinese Women Federation, have also stepped forward to state their willingness to assist whether emotionally, spiritually or otherwise.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot on Tuesday said that all visa fees for the families entering the country will be waived.
Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, in a media statement, said that all information pointed to the fact that flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean.
