The Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) needs to disseminate the truth to the Indian community that only Barisan Nasional (BN) are capable of changing their fortunes.

MIC will need to work hard to explain the transformation plans that are being carried out by the government in a bid to woo the Indian community to support BN.

BN chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak stressed such actions must be taken to ensure the Indian community do not fall victim to the lies and rumours spread by the opposition parties.

Najib, who addressed the MIC’s 66th general assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre this morning, added that any vote to the opposition during the coming general elections will be a “vote for destruction”.

Najib said that BN needs the full support from the masses including the Indian community to give the ruling government a strong mandate to ensure all programmes planned can be executed effectively.
