MIC secretary-general Datuk G Kumar Aamaan will continue his hunger strike after failing to meet any representatives from the Registrar of Societies (RoS) on Thursday evening.

When met outside the RoS office, Kumar who was represented by his lawyer R.T. Rajasegaran had refused to provide any statement.

"He will continue the hunger strike until RoS provides a new officer to conduct an independent investigation. If the party needs to hold an election again, there will be no problem," said Rajasegaran.

Kumar will also submit a letter to Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The content of the letter includes his mistrust against the RoS staffs and the re-investigation of MIC party elections.

Kumar said he will continue to be at the RoS headquarters until the Director General and investigating officer is changed.
