Ministry continues providing counselling to families of MH370, MH17 victims
The ministry will continue to provide counselling to the families of passengers and crew of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flights MH370 and MH17.
The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) will continue to provide counselling to the families of passengers and crew of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flights MH370 and MH17.
Minister, Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said until now, ministry officials still providedcounselling to the families of passengers and crew, either through e-mail or the phone.
"Our officers will entertain all their questions... if we don't have the answers, we will refer to the relevant parties," she told reporters after the KPWKM Aidilfitri celebration in Sarawak at Majma' Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, Monday.
At the event, a total of 100 people from various institutions under Sarawak KPWKM received Raya contributions.
Rohani said that on July 11, while attending the commemoration of the first anniversary of MH17, she had the opportunity to meet the families of passengers and crew who were present.
"They are still saddened by theincident but little by little, they are accepting it and moving on.
"Some are involved in small businesses and have opened up clothing boutiques, online boutiques, stalls and kiosks.
"Sometimes, if they feel depressed, they will get in touch with ourcounsellors ," she added.
