The second victim of a capsized boat near Pangkalan Kampung Muhibbah, Kuala Baram Lama last night was found today.
Miri Fire and Rescue Department chief Law Poh Kiong said the body of Umpon Ungat, 65, was recovered by a search and rescue team at 3.40pm not far from the location of the incident.
Earlier, the deceased's son, Stewart Umpon, 19, was found drowned by the team at 8.22am.
They were among four people on that ill-fated boat including two men, aged 47 and 48, who managed to swim to safety.
It was reported that the fishing boat's skipper was believed to have made a sudden turn against strong winds which caused the boat to capsize. - BERNAMA
