Missing activist Peter Chong returns home

Chong was reportedly missing after uploading a status about a strange meeting with a man.
Former Petaling Jaya councillor, Peter Chong, who was reported missing a week ago, has safely returned home from Pattaya.

The matter was confirmed by Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar via his Twitter account today.

Khalid also uploaded two photos of Chong, who was clad in blue shirt and black shorts.

News portal, Star Online reported Chong, who is also the former asisstant to Subang MP, S.Sivarasa, will be questioned over his mysterious disappearance.

Police was previously informed that Chong had crossed the border at Bukit Kayu Hitam into Thailand, at about 6.30am on April 7. No record of his return was found.

Chong was reportedly missing after uploading a status about a peculiar encounter with a stranger.

The man had allegedly warned Chong about several individuals who had gone missing in recent months.
