A 14-year-old teenager, Ammar Muzakhir Mohammad Khuzaini, has been found at Precinct 11, Putrajaya.
According to his father, Mohamad Khuzaini Ismail, his son is now in his aunt's house. He said it was the neighbour who found Ammar visiting the house yesterday.
"His aunt's neighbour in Putrajaya told us that Ammar went to the house but nobody was around. At that time, the neighbour noticed Ammar's presence but didn't know that he had been reported as missing.
"Today, Ammar once again went to the house as he wanted to use the bathroom. This time, the neighbour knew about the news as it went viral on social media. The neighbour didn't allow my son to get out and called his aunt.
"Ammar came to the house to ask for some transportation money to go back home, but the neighbour didn't allow that," he said.
When the father was contacted by Astro AWANI, they were on the way to Putrajaya to pick up Ammar.
However, they do not know how his son ended up in that area.
Astro AWANI earlier reported about Ammar, a special needs teenager, who went missing approximately at 4pm on Thursday and was last seen at the Gombak LRT station. Ammar is also the nephew for Seri Setia assemblyman Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
Nik Nazmi also took to Twitter to share about this news.
Previously, Astro AWANI received calls from members of the public reporting that they had seen Ammar in Putrajaya.
