The bodies of two Indonesians who went missing while fishing in the waters off Selangor on Monday, were found Friday.
Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Fourth Maritime District director, Maritime Captain Mohd Rosli Abdullah said the first body was found floating at 2.15pm, about 26 nautical miles (48.2km) from the Sekinchan coast.
The second victim was found more than four hours later on the same day, not far from the spot where the first body was found, he said.
He said preliminary investigations indicated that the B class fishing boat which the victims used to catch fish, sank after being hit by strong waves.
In a statement here tonight, Mohd Rosli said two other Indonesian men in the fishing boat were rescued by passing fishing vessels.
Mohd Rosli said the bodies of the two victims, aged between 20 and 30, were sent to the Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Hospital in Sabak Bernam. -- Bernama
