The National Registration Department (NRD) has been introducing the 'Mobile Ehsan' to help the less fortunate get their identity cards.
Terengganu NRD director Mohd Nasir Kareem said through the programme, the NRD would go to the homes of people in need of help in the aspect of identity documentation.
"Only the applicant's next-of-kin needs to come to our counter to request for the service before we can go to their houses.
"This is an initiative we take to facilitate the disabled and bedridden patients," he said after meeting the state media practitioners here today. - BERNAMA
