Mockingjay Part1 Red Carpet Looks

Yesterday: Hunger Games -Mockingjay - Part 1, one of the most fiercely anticipated movies of the year, premiered in L.A. with its blazing star Jennifer Lawrence in attendance. Avoiding the traditional red carpet, the premiere had its celebrities walking a luminously gleaming white floor instead. Conjuring the sterile, perfectionist atmosphere of the Capitol and the formal propaganda feel that has dominated this year’s ad campaign. The white surroundings served as a dramatic backdrop for all the fashion statements being made by the film’s fashionable cast. Who would Cinna be most satisfied with?
Julianne Moore wore a stunning 1920s inspired sequin, fringed, beaded dress with a plunging neckline delivering us old Hollywood glamour.
Liam Hemsworth looked dapper in a three piece grey pinstriped Dolce & Gabbana suit paired with a skinny tie.
Josh Hutcherson went for darker bolder tones, in charcoal/black shades.
Elizabeth Banks looked ravishing in a structured bodice pleated dress that showed off her gams! Adore the print and detailed tapestry that went into this Leonard look. Killing it! Business on the left, party on the right.Jena Malone is fabulous in an Emanuel Ungaro orange dress, showing us a whole lot of leg with the dramatic side slit. The gold accents with her gold pumps and clutch just pushed the whole ensemble forward!
Jena Malone, sported the flaming hair that sparked a thousand Batman rumours paired old Hollywood allure (think fabulous Joan Crawford) with a splash of Angelina Jolie’s leg.

The theme of the night appeared to be asymmetry and suprising volume. Willow Shields who plays Katniss’ younger sister has grown into a beautiful lady. In this gorgeous teal dramatic hemline dress by Christian Siriano along with some adorable Stuart Weitzman heels.
Natalie Dormer is sultry and sweet in this Rochas number. The pale yellow fabric really matches her complexion and those gorgeous waves just scream bombshell.
Jennifer Lawrence came down the red carpet looking pretty in a tea-length pearl white dress by Dior (of course). A very demure choice for the ‘girl on fire’ but we appreciate the element of surprise with Jlaw’s outfit choices of late. Giving us the unexpected every single time. by: Adeline Tan
