The air quality in two main towns in Sabah was reported moderate with Air Pollution Index (API) reading of above 50.
The Department of Environment's (DoE) portal stated that the API reading as at 9am today in Kota Kinabalu was 53 and Tawau, 67.
In Keningau, the air quality was good with API reading at 37.
An API reading at between 0 and 50 is good; 51 and 100 (moderate); 101 and 200 (unhealthy); 201 and 300 (very unhealthy); and more than 301 (hazardous).
