Modern Male Muses in Fashion
Ryan Gosling (Mr. If in doubt, wear a white tee)
From red carpet chic to stylish dog-walking outfits. Ryan Gosling knows how to dress it up and take effortless to a whole new level with his personal street style choices. From his close relationship with superior Gucci suits to flawlessly tailored Salvatore Ferragamo dinner jackets. As well as his beautiful pairing of denim with vintage worn-in tees, Gosling has high-low dressing down impeccably! Plain baseball hats, cardigans, V-neck tees, denim jackets, utility jackets and lace up boots – definition of irresistible. Also Gosling is the master of the brooding stare.
Jared Leto
This Oscar-winning, Saint Laurent suit wearing rocker may look a little bit like Jesus but has it down when it comes to channelling suave and fashionable gentleman especially in his Dior tux. We aren’t worthy. He manages to pull off all-black avant garde pieces for his shows - drop-crotch pants and those Chanel denim-and-tweed pants. He will always be the one revolutionizing style before we even know it’s cool. Remember that red bowtie! He just wears the hell out of a suit.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
The superlative hipster and the ‘kool kat’ on the streets of Hollywood, Joseph takes casual cool attire and steps it up a notch. Who doesn’t love a male feminist? But it is his uniqueness and cool suiting that draws us in every time, sartorially speaking. There are very few things that Joseph Gordon-Levitt does as well as the suit, especially the three-piece suit, and especially the slim fit three-piece suit. Trousers and a worn-in, casual chambray button down is also a look that JGL wears really well. Even a t-shirt and jeans look tasteful on Joseph.
Pharrell
Bold enough to pull off the famous “Arby’s Hat”, Pharrell is not only multi-talented when it comes to music, producing and writing but he has a creative personal style we have grown to love. Oxford shoes, luxury name plate necklaces, and many felt hats! He always has a pair of awesome kicks on and his track jackets are the essence of cool. It’s rare to be successful in music or fashion alone, so it’s astonishing that Pharrell has managed to kill it in both industries! While everyone in the hip hop community is adopting the street goth aesthetic and buying brands like Givenchy, Rick Owens, and Alexander Wang, he's keeping it classy and wearing head-to-toe Lanvin all year.
Tinie Tempah
Tinie’s use of colour, pattern and texture is street-style worthy! He is frequently donning signature accessories and his glasses are nothing if not memorable. A regular on the London style circuit and a consistent front-rower at London Collections, Tinie loves to create a statement with unexpected high fashion pieces. Breaking down the boundaries of tradition and adding some character to his look. Outstandingly modern and quirky; his fashion sense will continue to evolve with the times and establish new fashion boundaries.
