KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is inviting all parties to give feedback to the public survey related to the Targeted Subsidy Programme to be used as input for the government in setting up the programme.
In a statement today, MoF said responses to the survey could be downloaded via the website https://budget.mof.gov.my/bajet2023/kertaskonsultasi/.
"MoF welcomes feedback for this public survey to be completed and submitted on or before Aug 30, 2022," it said.
The ministry said the survey is to ensure that subsidies provided by the government could fully benefit the target group.
"This public survey is also a new approach of the MoF in the series of Public Consultation Papers (PCP) in an effort to make the annual budget preparation process more transparent and the involvement of all parties as a whole.
Besides that, it said the government is confident that the publication of the PCP would provide more opportunities for all stakeholders to give their feedback and enable the government to formulate an annual budget that meets the needs of the people as well as in line with the country's socio-economic development policy.
