Police have viewed the recording of the closed-circuit television camera at the residence of Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to identify the individual responsible for hurling a molotov cocktail into the house compound last Saturday.
Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said the recording showed a man on a motorcycle stopping in front of Lim's residence at Jalan Pinhorn and then lit a molotov cocktail before throwing it into the house compound.
"The man is believed to be in his 20s. We urge those with information on the incident to come forward to assist investigation.
"We will also distribute the CCTV recording and a photo fit of the suspect soon," he told a media conference here Monday.
In another development, Abdul Rahim said the police were still awaiting for report from Interpol to trace the remaining four foreign nationals who participated in a nudist sport event at a beach in Teluk Kampi, on the Penang side of the National park, recently.
The so-called nude sports became public knowledge when a video, lasting five minutes and 52 seconds, and titled 'Nude Festival in Teluk Bahang, Pulau Pinang' went viral on the social network.
