The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) does not rule out the possibility that there will be more arrests after the arrest of Penang exco member Phee Boon Poh this afternoon.
Its deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Azam Baki confirmed the matter when contacted by Astro AWANI today.
"I do not rule out that there would be other arrests after his (Phee Boon Poh's) arrest," he said.
According to Azam, Phee was arrested under Section 23 of the MACC Act 2009 for abuse of power.
Today, a team of five MACC officers raided Phee's office on the 53rd floor of Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak (Komtar) in George Town, Penang.

The raid was believed to be in connection to a case of an illegal factory operating in Sungai Lembu, Bukit Mertajam for the past 10 years.
