More flood victims evacuated in Temerloh

The number of flood victims in Temerloh as at 9am today increased to 116 people from 96 people last night.
Pahang Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) director Zainal Yusoff said victims, who are from Kampung Pasu, Kuala Krau, Kuala Gandah and Kampung Asli Sungai Enggang, were placed at the relief centres at Surau Kampung Penderas (15 people), Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Pasu (64 people orang) and Surau Sok Mek (21 orang).
"Another 16 flood victims are from Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Enggang and they have to their relatives''; houses," he said when contacted today.
He said the flood situation in Kg Pasu, Penderas, Kuala Krau , was improving and the flood water had receded in most places.
"The flood relief centres are expected to close at noon today if the situation continues to improve,'' he added. - BERNAMA
