The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 which has now been classified an accident, was a shock not only for Malaysians but also people around the world.

The flight which took off from Kuala Lumpur heading towards Beijing carried 239 passengers and crew mysterious disappearance remains a mystery. 

Such disappearance was however not the first disappearance in aviation history.
