MRT charges fares beginning today

The Mass Rapid Transit Sungai Buloh-Kajang (MRT-SBK) line has started charging commuters for its services effective today.
Fares are charged between RM0.80 to RM 3.90 involving 12 MRT stations from Sungai Buloh Station to Semantan.

For passengers who use cash, the fare from Sungai Buloh Station to Kampung Selamat Station would be RM1.20; to Kwasa Damansara, RM2.00; to Kwasa Sentral, RM2.20; to Kota Damansara, RM3.00; to Surian, RM3.10; to Mutiara Damansara, RM3.50; to Bandar Utama, RM3.80; to Taman Tun Dr Ismail, RM3.70; to Phileo Damansara, RM4.00; to Pusat Bandar Damansara, RM3.80; and to Semantan, RM3.90.
The same charges apply for journeys from stations beginning at Semantan to Sungai Buloh.
Passengers will also enjoy discounts from RM0.10 to RM0.50 if they use Touch n Go cards.
