Police have detained two male suspects at CID office IPD Mersing on July 10 in relation to the murder of an Estonian model Regina Soosalu. Regina was found dead at Pulau Rawa, Johor, earlier this month.
The suspects are a 27-year-old Malay man and a 30-year-old Eurasian man from Kuala Lumpur.
Johor Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Hasnan Hassan said that the two suspects have been brought to the Magistrates Court to be remanded.
At the moment, the police have detained a total of seven people with to the murder case.
Previously it was reported that the model drowned, however the police discovered wounds on her body and the case now is being investigated as a murder.
