Most Islamic nations and Arab, including Malaysia, celebrate the Hari Raya Aidilfitri today.
Raya day, which marks the end of the 30-day Ramadan fasting month, is being observed in countries such as Saudi arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon and the Palestines.
In Oman, however, the Ramadan ends today and Muslims in the country only celebrate Hari Raya on Friday.
The first day of Syawal in most Arab countries is determined by the sighting of the new moon and not the Falak method.
Most Islamic and Arab countries declare at least three days for Aidilfitri.
