Muslims in Malaysia to celebrate Aidiladha on Oct 15
Muslims in the country will celebrate Aidiladha on Oct 15, the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal Datuk Syed Danial Syed Ahmad announced here yesterday.
He said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah set the date following consultation with the Rulers after it was determined that 1 Zulhijah 1433 Hijrah was on Oct 6.
The announcement was broadcast live by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM).
