Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Tunku Ibrahim that his phone had been ‘tapped’ and his movements ‘monitored’ by the Special Branch.
Tunku Ismail in a Facebook statement posted on Johor Southern Tigers official page today came out in the open regarding the matter.
When prodded on whether there were any messages conveyed at the end of the interview, Tunku Ismail disclosed that his mobile is being monitored.
Tunku Ismail, or fondly known as TMJ said he is in the dark as to why the authorities had opted to take the action against himself and his father, the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ismail Sultan Iskandar.
‘I don’t understand why my phone is tapped. I am clueless why my movements are monitored by the Special Branch.
“I don’t understand why they require mine and my father’s files in Bukit Aman,” he replied to a question by a reporter, in the statement.
TMJ also said that there was no provisions for any quarters to act in such a way as he is no threat to the country.
“I’m just concerned towards my rakyat. I’m not a terrorist. I’m not dangerous. I have never committed a murder except the current state of the national football industry,” he said in jest.
