Myanmar national found dead with slash wounds

A Myanmar factory worker was found dead with several slash wounds on his neck at an aluminium factory here, earlier today.
The body soaked in blood, was discovered at approximately 2am on the floor of the factory.
Kota Setar District police chief ACP Adzaman Mohd Jan said the 26-year-old victim died from excessive bleeding after he was allegedly slashed by a known assailant.
The victim who known as Yawba has worked at the plant for two years.
According to a police source, a knife with blood stain believed used as a murder weapon was found near the scene.
Some of the factory workers, believed to be acquaintances of the victim have been detained by the police to facilitate investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
His body was sent to the Forensic Department of Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah HSB (HSB) for post-mortem.
