Myanmar worker decapitated in construction site mishap

A Myanmar construction worker was decapitated in an incident at a construction site near Bayan Baru, this morning.
The head of the victim, Sanaulla Ashozama, 26, was decapitated when he became entangled by the cable wire. The victim had allegedly failed to release the cable from his neck when the cable suddenly moved.
Southwest District Chief Police, Superintendent A Anbalagan said the victim was trying to assist the crane operator to fix the cable when he was entangled by it.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim is a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) card holder and began working at the site three months ago.
His remains were brought to the Balik Pulau Hospital for post-mortem. Police had classified the case as sudden death.
